The Garlic Press: Final Issue
Hi, this is Max.
This is the final issue of The Garlic Press.
For those of you who might not quite remember what The Garlic Press is, a quick reminder: it is a newsletter for professional Amazon sellers, dedicated to insights that I considered useful and actionable enough to share.
When I launched it, the idea was simple.
I wanted a place to think in public about Amazon and e-commerce. For a while, it worked.
Then something shifted.
I noticed that most of my best ideas were no longer coming from Amazon content. They were coming from podcasts about other fields. Conversations between founders, scientists, comedians, economists. Things that were not “about Amazon” at all, but still made me change how I run my brands and my life.
At the same time, writing The Garlic Press started to feel forced. I wasn’t enjoying the process.
So I am doing the only honest thing:
I am closing The Garlic Press.
And I am putting my energy into a new project that actually matches where my attention is.
Meet Podhead.
Podhead is my new newsletter about insights from podcasts.
Every week, I process 50-70 new podcast episodes, and filter out the ideas that I consider interesting enough to share.
Some insights are closer to business and strategy. Some are about health, psychology, culture and technology.
If you liked the practical, concise nature of The Garlic Press, Podhead is built in the same spirit, just with a wider lens.
You can check out the latest issue here and see for yourself if this is something you want in your inbox every week.
Thanks for reading The Garlic Press; I hope to see you among the subscribers of Podhead.
All the best.
Max.
